Line Spacing

I have an odd problem. On a few slides I change the line spacing,
save the file, and when I open it the spacing is back to original
spacing? It is not the spacing of the applied design template?

I am using 2003 on XP SP3.

I have copied the slide to another presentation and saved and it kept
the line spacing.
I have copied the slide to another presentation, clicked on the smart
tab and selected keep original formatting, saved, and it reverted back
to the original line spacing.

This appears to be related to the design template? Why then would it
not revert to the design template line formatting. I have not gotten
the slide master and title master mixed up.

I fixed it by creating a new slide master and then copy and pasting
shapes, etc. I was just wondering if this is just a corrupt design or
is there something else I am missing?

There's a bug that reapplies the first slide master to a slide, regardless
of what you've specified. It sounds to me like you've run into that.

Echo,

Thanks! I assumed it was a bug. However none of my placehoders in
any of my current designs (TM&SM) have line spacing like this slide?
The first master does have two different line spacings depending on
which indent level you are on. Would it "average" it before
applying? Seems like it should just apply the master like it normally
does? I am not worried about it.

Thanks again!

Hm, I don't know. It sure sounds like it's at least *related* to the bug I
mentioned, but this behavior does sound a little odd. Might have just been
an "almost-corrupt" slide. I'm glad to hear that redoing the slide fixes it
so you don't have to worry about it!

Sure wish I could pinpoint the cause...
