Cool program and does a fast job.

Shame windows xp is,nt the same.

But the question is :

Why pay when windows xp has one for free?

Both do the same job just one is faster.

I think the main differences are the speed and the automated defrag.

Coincidentally, I downloaded the Pro trial version a couple of days ago from the Diskeeper site itself, and it is indeed an excellent defragger. Blows the windows defragger away in speed and functions.

Best of all, I like that it defrags both my drives together, unlike the stupid windows defragger and doesnt render the PC unusable when it is running even on non-OS drives. ( I have my OS on C: and the rest of the stuff on D: )

I think I'll play around with the trial version for a few more days...haven't checked out some of the features like the auto mode or MFT defrag. If the rest of it as good as what I have seen so far, I'll get the IT Dept. to buy a copy for me before the trial expiration date is up.
