Disk checking has been cancelled

Disk checking has been cancelled is displayed every time I restart my pc. Why
does this happen? How do I correct this?

The registry entry at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\BootExecute may have an entry for
'autocheck' which can be removed.
