Disable Login Screen - Windows XP Pro

For several months after installation XP Pro on the PC,
Booting the (Single-user)machine bypassed the login
screen and went directly into the desktop. Today we
downloaded about 20 updates and the login screen
appeared. How do we get rid of it so that booting goes
directly into the desltop.

Hi Eugene,

To Disable the Welcome Screen:

1.Go to Start Menu>Run

2. Type this: control userpasswords2

3. Click OK

4. Remove the check next to "Users must enter a user name...."

5. Click OK
