Directx 9

I am trying to play this game America's army, but it says
i need to enable directx 3d. I have directx 9 installed on
my computer, but enabling directx 3d isnt an option. I see
where it say directx 3d, but it wont let me select enable.
Anyone have a clue on how to fix it.

What kind of video card do you have? I would suggest getting the latest
video card drivers. Let me know if that doesn't work for you and we can try
some other things.

run dxdiag from the startmenu run opition.

go under the display tab and make sure all the dx features are
enabled.

My kids did not have it enabled. It was due to a virus messing up the
registry. Ran norton and mcaffee cleaned out the virus reinstalled
the drivers and it worked.

Tried to do the dirvers before the virus fix and no go.

Would love to take a sledge hammer to those bastard virus programmers
hands and keyboard
