Got a HP scanjet 3970, won't run keeps asking
for "usbscan.sys" found on Service Pack 1??????
Also states my usb ports are not high speed ?? Where do
I go, what can I do??

By high speed they mean USB 2. You need to check your hardware's manual to
find out what you have. If you only have couple of ports on the back of the
PC near the keyboard and mouse ports and the PC is fairly old then it's
probably USB 1 (low speed). You could buy add on card with USB 2.
Since the installer is asking for usbscan.sys you need to have the HP
installation CD for this file.
