It is said that there are two websites for updates, one is
V4.windowsupdate....., the other is V5.windowsupdate...... Is it true?
Why the users of windows is connected to the different update websites? Are
V5updated computers more secure than V4updated ones? What is the difference
between them?

It refers to two versions of the Windows Update program. Version 4 is
currently in use for production systems; version 5 is new and will come
in with the SP2 for windows XP, in a month or two. The updates provided
will be the same; version 5 will provide a better method for downloading
and installing them that is less liable to hangups (we hope)
