Hello
I have updated WindowsUpdate software from v4 to v5
version. Since then I noticed in TaskMgr a new process
called wuauclt.exe which automatically stops within
5minutes after manually search for updates. However,
while searching in Google for this process the results
regarding to it are pointing to the WindowsMillenium OS
only, not XPHome which I'm running. Is this the normal
behavior of wuauclt.exe for WinXP? I have turned off
automatic updates feature.

Normal. Does it on xp pro as well.
