Dial Up speed

In OE 6 you could check an approximate dial up connection speed by passing
your curser over the connection icon. How can you do this in Windows Mail?

TIA

I would have expected the same behaviour?

Since I do not even have a Modem installed, I can't check it out for you.

Have you heard of Broadband etc :)) (only joking).

But you are a little behind the times B.W.

Maybe there is another user somewhere in the world who is still on Dial-up?

The connection icon in the system tray is part of Windows, not
part of the email client (OE or Windows Mail). My Vista
connection icon does not reveal connect speed (I'm on DSL),
but perhaps it does for a dial-up connection. Regardless,
it's not a Windows Mail issue.

Thank you both for your comments. I myself am on Broadband but the machine
I am referring to belongs to someone else. I believe last time I looked at
their machine I could not see that same feature in the connection icon. I
will check with Vista OS newsgroup.

Thanks
