DHCP/BINL Problems

Joel Low

I faced the below error in my activities viewer all the
time in Windows 2000 Server. What could be the problem?

"The DHCP/BINL service has determined that it is not
authorized to service clients on this network for the
Windows domain: western.

Hi Joel,

Assuming that you want to run DHCP service on your server, you need to
authorize it to operate in your Active Directory domain. See 300429 HOW TO:
Install and Configure a DHCP Server in an Active Directory
