Dfndr update fails - the wrong diskette is in the drive !!

update 1408 will not install. err msg
wdws dfdr was unable to complete the update 0x80240022. The wrong diskette
is in the drive. Insert %2 (volser %3) into drive %1.

Yes, that is happening here as well. At shutdown, are you also offered the
option of Install Updates and Shutdown?

Read my post under general , versions, engines, definations April 27, 2006. I
had this problem plus many of the errors listed. It appears that the window
defender was changed . I had to download again, did not need to uninstall.
All issues gone

Download it again? Don't these people understand the concept of software
updates? Who's doing it, the local nursery school?

-- I agree but it was the only way I could get defender to update and stop error messages. I came across the defender change by reading post about 1347 refresh.
