Details in Calendar - Outlook 2003

I have followed Microsoft's instructions about being able to see the details
in the calendar grid and neither has worked: (i) In planner options, check
"show calendar details in grid" and (ii) make sure the "private" option is
not checked. It is still not working... any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Are you networked? Is this using your own copy of Outlook and trying to see your details when planning a meeting and checking availability?

I am on my own. Maybe I am not explaining myself correctly. When I create a
meeting/appointment, there is a space under the data that allows you to write
notes or anything you want. On my office Outlook (which is networked), I can
see what I have written when I pull up the calendar and my mouse is on the
appt/meeting. I can't see it at home.

Thanks Milly!

The "Show calendar details in Grid" is for a purpose entirely unrelated to what you are trying to do. Just forget about everything to do with that right now. Its purpose is entirely different.

What version of Outlook are you using at work and at home?

I am leaving my job so I am updating all my info manually onto my home
computer which has Outlook 2003.

Thanks again for your help...

To update all of your information at home, simply copy the .pst file from work on your last day and take it home, then open it in Outlook on your home pc. Easiest method around. Avoids questions that may confuse with the answers as well.

Once opened, drag and drop items from the work .pst file to the home ..pst file. When done, close the now useless work .pst file.

Depending on the size, you may want to burn the .pst file to a CD. Ensure that Outlook is COMPLETELY closed beforehand to avoid corruption (use task manager to close any remaining instances of Outlook, if there are any.)
