Desktop Background

My Desktop Background Icon has disappeared from the Control Panal -
Personalization window, my desktop background is always black, and I can no
longer save any pictures to my desktop. Why is this gone and where did it go?

On the Bridge

if you right click on desktop and select personalize isnt there a desktop
background item there listed??
