denied access to log on server

Dear All,

I will be greatful if some one give me solution for this
problem. We have got windows2000 Server and win98 and
win2K clients. We have problem from win98 clients to
connect to the server following error message is comming
while loging into network.

Error Message:

you supplied domain password is wrong or access denied to
log on server.

Ram,

Not sure about this one as it has been awhile. Try
installing the ADClient on your WIN98 machines. There
was a situation similar to this where I used to work. I
did not directly work on this as I had some FileMaker Pro
issues at the same time so my colleagues did. Pretty
sure that this is the fix that they found.

Also, make sure that the clients have the proper WINS
information. Have you tried logging on to a WIN2000
machine? If that is successful then it is most probably
a machine issue.

Another possibility is to go to the DC and reset one of
the user's password! Give it time ( should be immediate
due to the nature, but give it a few minutes just to be
safe ).
