delfolders.exe

just installed xp home edition - during startup folowing
welcome screen there is a delay of a couple of minutes
then an error message "unable to locate c:\windows\system32
\tools\delfolders.exe"

I click on ok and the startup continues normally

Any suggestions please

delfolders.exe does not seem to be an XP file. Have a look in msconfig for any reference to the file - if found, uncheck it and reboot your system. It may have been installed with a 3rd program that you have now uninstalled.
