Deletion of file with CRC error

T

Tony

I'm using Windows XP and a program file in MS Office is
showing a CRC(cyclic redundancy error) and can not be
deleted in the normal way - does anyone know the trick to
delete this kind of file, so I can reinstall MS Office?

Your help would be invaluable, thanks.

First, check the attributes to make sure it's not read only, then try to
chage the extension.
You should then be able to delete it. I've had that problem before.
