deleting files

When I try to delete files in documents, the same file
regenerates and reappears many times. I have over 200
copies of one file. I ran a virus scan and none are
detected. any suggestions?

regenerates and reappears many times. I have over 200
copies of one file. I ran a virus scan and none are
detected. any suggestions?

The duplication occurs when you select the last file and move the mouse
before releasing the mouse button. Or your finger slips and the pressure on
the button varies while the mouse is moving. XP is very sensitive to this
and the results are copies of the selected files. To avoid this, select
your last file, release the mouse button and then relax your hand so that
any mouse movement is now inconsequential.
