deleting files

Hi,
I have been unsuccessful at deleting un wanted
files/programs downloaded from the net. i get the message:

Cannot delete access is denied - make sure disk is not
full or write protected and that the the file is not
currenly in use.

neither appears to be the case but i still cannot de;ete
the the file/program!

can you suggest a solution?

Hi Mark,

it would help us if you would told us what program we are talking about.

You have few choices:
- try to uninstall it from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs if you can
locate it there
- you can try and install anti AdWare or SpyWare software if that is what
your program is.

You can get free anti AdWare software at www.lavasoftusa.com -> under
downloads locate AdAware. After installation first update it using icon in
the program. Run the program on the PC and remove any AdWare or SpyWare...

If you let us know what program you are trying to remove we might be able to
give you more details on how to remove it...
