Defrag provides no results - please help

Ever since I loaded Sysinternals' PageDefrag, I get no results from
running System Defrag withing Win XP. I tried deleting the page file
and through device manager, setting no pagefile, rebooting,
defragging, resetting it and defragging, etc. After all attempts, the
end result of the defrag console looks just as it did before I
defragged in the analysis pane of the defrag module.

I've even tried to run Norton Speed Disk and it nothing... still about
23% fragmentation.

Any suggestions?

dont't defrag?
paging file access (read/write) is 64KB in size, it's doesn't matter if it's
fragmented or not.

Never did it before and wanted to see if there was any result but now
the rest of the drive - folders and files - don't defrag... any
suggestions as to how to get the drive to actually defrag?
