Default handlers?

Hello.

I've installed office 2007 in vista. When clicking mailto links, it opens up
outlook (not windows mail). So I opened up windows mail and checked to see
if it was the default mail handler ...and it is. I thought maybe there was
an error or something, so I made outlook 2007 the default handler, and then
went back into Windows Mail to switch it back. Guess what? Windows Mail
reports that it's still the default handler.... I'm confused? Anyone have
any enlighten on this? Thanks.

Try setting WInMail default in Control Panel | Default Programs and see if
that makes a difference.

Go to start > run > regedit

navigate to H Key Local Machine > Software > Client > Mail and ensure that
it

is set to Windows Mail
