How can I make MS IE back the default browser?
The steps was:
1. Third party IE browser installed.
2. Make it default browser.
3. Third party IE browser uninstalled.
Now links from e-mail do not work.

Hi,
From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Programs tab, choose Reset Web Settings.
Click OK, OK.

Windows XP? (You didn't say...)
Control panel> Add/remove programs> Set Program Access and Defaults, choose
Microsoft Windows or Custom. Make sure IE is selected as the default
browser.

Additional useful information at http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFAQ.htm >>>
Tips #7, 40, 41, 50, 51.

If those steps don't resolve the problem, see

Hope this helps,
