When installing Easy CD Creator 5 Basic by Roxio that came with my Gateway
computer (CD Burner), it gets halfway through the installation before saying
"Error 1311.Source fiel not sound: D:/Data.Cab. Verify that the file exists
and that you can access it."

I opened up the D Drive from My Computer and Data.Cab was right there. I
was able to open it and browse around. It seemed like everything was there,
I didn't touch any files. I clicked retry and the same error came up.

How can I fix this? Please help.

Easy CD Creator 5 requires a patch in order to be compatible with XP.
You'll need to check the Roxio website for updates. NOTE: Sometimes updates
require the user to have a retail version as opposed to an OEM version in
which case. I can only suggest purchasing the latest version which is now
called, Easy Media Creator.
