d: drive

Jerry

I am running vista home premium and Mozilla on a Dell 530s. All of a
sudden when I do a backup, the d drive gives me the message that the backup
has failed. I have tried everything, including reformatting d but to no
avail. At the moment, when I get the failed message apparently the c:
drive is ok.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

If the D drive was originally a recovery partition, there is probably not
enough space on D. By formatting the drive, you have most likely removed
data which would have enabled you to recover your operating system.

When backing up a system, it should always be done to an EXTERNAL drive
which you obviously do not have.
