d: drive

I am using Vista and Mozilla on a dell 530s. I have it set to automatically
back up once a week. All of a sudden it tells me that the backup on drive
d: has failed. I have tried everything, including formatting the d drive,
changing the settings back and forth and nothing seems to work.

Apparently the c: drive does backup as it should but what can I do to mke
the d drive work as it has been for so long?

Thanks for any comments or suggestions

Where is it backing up to? Is there enough space there?

First, this is an XP gtroup.

Second, what is the D drive? If it's a partition on the same physical disk
as C, you should *not* be backing up this way. Never back up to the same
physical disk, when the disk fails, as they do, the backups will be just as
unavailable as the source.
