Cursor size

Cursor size is double the norm and I cannot reduce it. Using the mouse
properties under control panel have not allowed this to change back to normal
size.

you should look in the CONTROL PANEL
under accessibility options>display>cursor options....

there is a slider there that says WIDTH, make it NARROW.

Try changing it in Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Vision> Cursor
Options. The default setting is "Narrow" (slider all the way to the left).
