Hi,
I was trying to show my cousin how to see what is running and the CPU usage the Task Manager
but on her computer (XP Home) If you hit C/A/D you get the shut down screen instead.
On mine you get the Task manager (XP MCE)

What should I hit on hers to get that?
Why is her's different?

Have a good day,

remove "nospam" in order to email me.

The dialog box has the option for Task Manager. Tell her to
click on the Task Manager button.

Try this tweak, and post back with results:

Enable the Task Manager

It depends on whether the welcome screen is activated. If so then
ctrl-alt-del brings up the task manager, if not then it brings up the
security dialog box in which there is a button for Task Manager. You can
also get task manager from right click a blank area of the taskbar and
select task manager. Ctrl-shift-esc also brings up task manager. Yet
another way is Start | Run | taskmgr, Ok.
