critical update installed but still showing as needed

KB828026 is a critical update for Windows Media Player Scrip
Commands. Anyone else having the problem of this updat
being successfully installed but still being shown as
critical update needed the following day?

microsoft is working on the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
too bad it's been over a month and still nothing.
windows updates are getting buggy.
complain to your congress man or senator.
