How do I create a calendar that I want to give to someone else. It does not
need to be shared. I am using 2003 version.

Can you plaese try to explain what you want to do? What do you mean by "give
to someone" and "does not need to be shared"?

I want to create a calendar for my boss to use for keeping track of vacation
days and sick days used throughout the year. I want to work on it on my
computer and then be able to give it to her to use. After I give it to her I
will not need it in my outlook anymore.

We are getting closer but I still don't know your situation well enough to
provide the best answer.

What do you mean by "give it to her"? do you want to print it? email it?
provide her with access from her own computer?

Do you have a network with Microcoft Exhange Server software and Public
Folders?

A really simple way to give it to the boss is to make a sub-folder under
your calendar, put the events in it and print it.

Sorry! I want her to use the calendar in her outlook on her own computer.
She will be the one who will be keeping it up to date. We do not have
Exchange server.

You could make it in a new Outlook Data File, take it to her computer on a
memory stick and move it to her computer. That whole process is fraught with
danger unless you get it right.

How about you take the technological challenges out of the equation and sit
at her desk for an hour and make it! Low tech in this case is the best
answer. Especially as it is a one-off requirement.
