"Could not open install.log"

Occasionally when I try to uninstall a program I get this message in a Wise
Uninstall box, "Could Not Open Install.log" and I can't uninstall that
program. I tried to reinstall and then uninstall but that didn't work
either. Does anyone know a work-around for this?
