Corel Settings Database

David

I just installed Outlook 2003 via Microsoft Office.
Everything is working except Outlook. When trying to
start Outlook for the first time, I'm getting a window
called "Choose Profile". In that window, "Corel Settings"
is the default, and only, choice. When I click "OK", I
get an error window called "Corel Personal Address Book
Provider", with the message "The database directory cannot
be found". I then click "OK" (the only choice), and the
program closes.

Anyone have any ideas? I can't seem to get the guys at
Microsoft to answer.

Thanks much.

You can try creating a new profile by clicking the New button in the Choose
Profile dialog. Or, go to Control Panel | Mail and remove the Corel Personal
Address Book provider from the Corel Settings profile. The problem
apparently is that the Corel address book isn't working with Outlook 2003.
Microsoft support will not be able to help you with that since it's not
their component.
