Conundrum.....saving images.

FRI

I'm using W98 and Internet Explorer 6; I used to be able to go to a
web-page, right-click on an image and choose "save as", then if it was an
animated GIF I'd choose "GIF" from the drop-down list.
Now all of a sudden the only choice there is "BMP". How do I restore the
ability of IE6 to save images in their original formats, please?

At the moment I have to save even JPG's as BMPs and that means re-converting
them and suffering losses in the process.

Thank you.

I.E version 6.0.2600.0000IS

Thanks

O

oops!!

This will probably solve the problem (clearing your TIF folder), after closing Internet Explorer:

Internet Properties > General > click "Delete Files" > select "Delete all offline content" > OK > OK.

That happens when the Temporary Internet Files are too full. In IE click
Tools | Internet Options. Click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet
files section of the General tab. On the next window place a check mark in
the box to Delete all offline content.
