Contacts gone in view

In the lower left hand corner view of Contacts, I used to have all of my
contacts in my Address Book displayed. It says "There are no contacts to
display." when my Address Book has hundreds of entries that I'm able to send
emails to.

How do I get that Contacts view back?

I've tried changing things in View/Layout, but nothing seems to work.

You aren't talking about Outlook are you?
This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.
