Connecting a Win95 computer to the internet via a WinXP computer

I have a Win XP machine which is connected via the USB/ADSL to the internet.
I've connected with a 10baseT crossed cable my old Win95 machine in order to
use it as a web client.
If I'm defining the Ethernet card IP as it should receive automatic address
- I don’t have a DHCP server. So I've entered a fixed IP address to both
computers - and they work fine, i can share the disks and printer.
The issue is that although I've defined on the Win95 computer the WinXP as a
default gateway, I still don’t have an Internet access, and don't know how
the DNS server should be defined (because it is not a fixed definition on the
WinXP USB definitions).
Can anyone help and tell me where I'm wrong.
Thanx
Arie

Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the XP machine's ADSL
connection.

To configure Win95 with a fixed IP address, use these values:

IP Address: 192.168.0.x (1<x<255)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS Server = 192.168.0.1 or your ISP's DNS server

You can also configure Win95 to obtain an IP address automatically.
The XP machine will run a mini-DHCP server that will assign all the
values.
