Confused again about mm2

I just posted and went again to papajohn's site.
I read about the difference between mm1 and mm2. It said that mm1 was something like 800 kb and mm2 was 3.4 mb. Once again, I am left wondering if I have mm2, even though it looks the same as mm1 (or what I thought was mm1). My movie maker file is 3.2 mb.

I went through and manually copied the registration files, but never had the .inf file. I right clicked on the mm20ex file which gave me an install option, but nothing seemed to happen. It never did show me an .exe file until I tried to send movie maker to the compressed zipped file, where it asked me if I wanted to replace the blah blah.exe file.

I am not a computer guru, so maybe something is wierd where the computer 'thinks' it's one thing, even though it's not running that way...

help!

I added a little picture to the Setup > Software page of my website to show
a few distinguishing marks of MM2, so you know that you're there without
having to check the version number.
