Hi,
I have Windows XP,
On my other computer, everytime I start it up, it loads, then as soon as it
goes onto the logon for users, it just restarts itselft,

I pressed f8 during startup and pressed enter for "start windows without
restarting during system failure" so I pressed enter then came a big blue
screen with an error message saying
"BAD_POOL_CALLER"

Technical Information

*** STOP: 0X000000C2 (0X00000043, 0XD3A66000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

Please can somone tell me what it means and what can I do to reslove this
issue,

The most likely cause of your error is a bad or buggy device driver of
some kind.

Did you make any changes to your computer at the time the problem
started? Any new software or hardware? Any updates to existing
softwae? Any updates to existing drivers (video, printer, etc.)?

That may give us a further clue as to the underlying cause of your
problem.

I left it for about an hour, as I came back, It was in a state of continusly
resarting itself.

My gueses were that as the virus scan detected something, it may then of
acted on impact, but I'm not sure as it's just a wild guess,

At this point it appears that a "repair install" of your Windows XP
will be required. A "Repair Install" will preserve all of your
installed applications, configuration settings and user data files.
Windows Updates will have to be reinstalled.

From your previous postings it appears that you have XP Service Pack 2
installed on your computer. If that is the case then you will need an
installation CD from the same type of Windows that also includes
Service Pack 2 in order to do the "repair install". You can create
an installation CD with Service Pack 2 slipstreamed into it by
following the instructions at these web sites:

Note that if you have not installed Service Pack 2 then your original
install CD should work okay for the "repair install".
