Running Windows XP pro. When I right click in window area then NEW, I do
not get "compressed (zipped) folder appearing as an option. Is this
something that has to be installed? Or is something wrong here?

TIA

Click Start, Run and type:

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

Press Enter. Then type:

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll

That worked. Thank you. What did you just have me do, install or turn on
this feature with the /u ?

The /u unregisters the .dll and then you register it again.
