Compacting Mail Folders?

In Outlook Express-6 there was an option under File > Folder
to compact individual or all mail folders. I have not been
able to find that option under Vista Mail. Is it somewhere
else, discontinued, or what?

Best regards to all.

There is no need to compact messages in WM, as they are stored in individual
..eml files.
There is an index, however, called the MessageStore that is compacted after
every (default =100) so many program shutdowns.
WM will ask you before it does. It does not affect your messages.

it has been moved to the Maintenance of Tools _ Options _ Advanced.
normally set at 100, I reduced it to 5. works better for me.
