Comp Brwsr & Srvr won't start & Missing File Shrng tab too!

I will make this short and hopefully sweet enough to prompt a response from
someone who can help me.

Running WinXP Home on 2 Desktops, & 1 Laptop, able to share Bellsouth
internet service with no probs through Westell 6100 and using Linksys WRT54G.

Now for the sweet stuff... Please help... not only do I have a missing
Simple File Sharing tab under Tools ->Folder Options -> View tab (not part of
a domain, unless being with bellsouth makes me part of one) but I also have a
number of errors that just might be related to one another, and part of the
same problem.

The Computer Browser and Server will not start and I get the following
errors whenever I start Server and Workstation:

Error Event ID 1068 The dependency service or group failed to start
Error Event ID 2508 The server service was unable to load the server driver.
Error Event ID 7023 The Server service terminated with the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it
has no enabled devices associated with it.
Error Event ID 7024 The Workstation service terminated with service-specific
error 2250 (0x8CA).

I can ping computers by IP addresses but not by name, and I cannot share
files nor see laptop or another pc with one of the pc's (but they both can
see each other and share files).

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Run the Network Setup Wizard, and select
This computer connects to the Internet through another computer on my network or
through a residential gateway.
