Comcast online technical support rep recommended your anti-
spyware since theirs couldnt get rid of these pests:
IST Bar, IST.XXXtoolbar, Hijacker, Sidefind,
YourSiteBar.

Will MS be putting out a version for Windows ME?

How do I get rid of these annoying hijackers, adware,
spywares?

It is highly doubtful that Microsoft will expend any effort to make any
existing or new product compatible with unsupported versions of their
products. Support for Windows ME ended back on 31-Dec-2003 (see
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifewin).

You will need to use anti-malware products that still support the
defunct versions of Windows, like Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, CWshredder, and
several other commercial products.

Or, use Ad-aware (or) SpyBot Search & Destroy.

Ad-aware here:

SpyBot here:

by Ron Chamberlin - how possibly remove spyware and unwanted browser helper
objects in Windows, Internet Explorer with Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at Start Up;

Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents

and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;

Run the scan while in safe mode;

If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any

BHO's that you don't recognize.
