Closing a window (Fn+alt+F4)

I just received windows XP Pro. In trying to close a window using ALT+F4 I
was shocked to find that it required a third key... labeled Fn.

Dell tells me it's windows. If so, how can I change it back because someone
out there has no idea how the real world works. It's inconvenient enough to
have to use 2 keys to close a window but now you need three... and they are
NOT designed to be reachable easily but requires TWO HANDS or a few seconds
of making sure your fingers are in the right place to do it. Where are the
users when these people go off in closets to make life convenient for
themselves???

Help.

Hi
"Dell Tell Lies"
Nothing to do with Windows XP pro
Computer manufacturers use the Fn key to cram even more virtual keys onto
smaller laptop

Nothing to do with Windows.

The function keys on your keyboard can either be normal F1, F2, etc.
keys or they can perform special functions. To switch from normal F keys
to special function keys and vice versa you press the Fn key.
