Clearing different search history

Can someone help me because, when I go to a web page like
Yahoo and am going to type something in the search bar a
list appears right under the bar like a search history,
but I dont want that to appear. That same like bar of
previous searches appears not only in Yahoo but also in
Google and many other places where I may type something
in for like a search. Is there any way I may disable that
or can make that bar list disappear?
