Clarification required on using VS Standard Edition and PDA

Greetings,

I've read the postings on this topic and I "Think" I know it's ok but I'd
just like someone with more idea than me to say "Yes.. you're right it'll
work"

I'm looking at purchasing the Visual Studio Standard Edition with the
compact framework so that I can develop Pocket PC applications for Pocket PC
2003 and Upwards. Is the Standard edition sufficient or will I need the
professional edition? Is there anything other than the box with VS 2005
Standard I'll need? Can someone please set me straight on this matter.

Yes Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition does support both Native code (C++)
and Managed code (C# / VB) device development projects.
