I set a boot-time CHKDSK /F to run in order to do a boot-
time defragmentation using DISKEEPER 7. I am on WIN XP
PRO.
But, on reboot, I get a message statitnd that CHKDSK
cannot open volume in direct access and is terminated.
This in turn prevents DISKEEPER from defragmenting
because ther is CHKDSK schedulled to run. And we go
around in circles.
What to do?
