Chkdsk won't run on boot

Larry

I am on WIN 2K, using NTFS, My machine runs fine.
If I try to run diskeeper it says that a chkdsk is pending and I have to
run chkdsk first.

If I tell diskeeper to run chkdsk at boot up, or I run chkdsk /f and
then say
Yes to the question of running chkdsk at boot up.

When I boot up chkdsk won't run.
My computer runs fine thought.

this just started happening.

Thanks in Advance,

Larry

Check your BIOS settings and disable the setting for virus
protection and restart your machine . Then run Chkdsk
again. It will suggest that it should be run during the
next startup. Say yes and reboot. ChkDsk will work on the
next bootup.
