Chinese XP, convert to English?

Hi,

My wife and I received a Thinkpad R40 from her father in China, but the
menus and help files, etc. are in Chinese. I'd like to switch to
English if it's possible. Any ideas about how to do this other than
buying an English version of XP?

You'll need to purchase a "Full English Version" of Windows XP
and perform a "clean install".
