Chat rooms not accesable

Hi there

I have loaded Windows XP Professional on my new home PC. I can not enter
into chat rooms (MSN Groups). Also can not get into chat rooms on Yahoo.

Reloaded MSC Chat control several times.Pop-up message " NETWORK PROBLEMS
ARE PREVENTING YOU FROM CONNECTING TO THE CHAT SERVICE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN
LATER"

MSN Groups Customer Support suggested I reload the Chat Software which I
did - still no luck. Getting same message as above?

Could it maybe be the Internet Browser settings that cause the problem?
