Chat Problems

Can anybody tell me if Yahoo or MSN are experiencing difficulties with their
networks as far as chat rooms are concerned?
Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

I have a new PC with Windows XP Professional.

I have already contacted MSN and they suggested that I reload the Chat
Control Version which I did.
No luck!

I can see that it tries to connect to the chat service but after a few
minutes the following message still appears in a pop-up window:

" NETWORK PROBLEMS ARE PREVENTING YOU FROM CONNECTING TO THE CHAT SERVICE.
PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER"
Can get into MSN Groups but not into any of the private chatrooms of which I
am a registered member.

Can somebody help me please?

Hello Helena,



I don't know how to help you with the MSN Chat problem. But for the yahoo
chat you have to go to Sun Microsystems and download the Java application
from their site.



Did you get the "Smiley Face" before going to the MSN Chat rooms? If yes,
then my best guess is that you are behind a firewall that doesn't allow you
to connect to chat rooms.
