Changing the Site Topology Generator

Matt

I have a multiple server network where the root domain
controller has to be retired. Exchange 2000 is running on
one of the other domain controllers. I have already
transferred all the FSMO roles and the Global Catalog.
I've found that the old root domain server is still the
Inter-site Topology Generator. How would I go about
moving this role, and any other one's that I may have
missed, to the new root domain controller?
Thanks in advance for any help.

When that server goes down an ISTG ( Inter-site Topology Generator) machine
will be automatically re-elected by KCC. You should not have to worry about
this role

When you will remove DC trough dcpromo, you server will be automaticaly
removed from topology generation.
