Changing the default language in XP

I'm trying to change the language used by Windows for
icons and menus etc from Russian to English. Does anyone
know if this is possible in XP or is it a default thing
set on windows install. I can make it type in English
using the Regional Language and settings from the control
panel but I need all of Windows to be in English.

Any help appreciated

You will have to buy an English language version and either
reinstall that or setup a dual boot.

Did you buy one of those $50 Internet special deals?

You can't change it. If you want English you will have to purchase the
English version.

Check MS Knowledgebase site for multilanguage support.

The are two types of alternatives - (1) get an additional language pack for
more integrated language support, and I believe that there is free download
also available for limited support on interface and other stuffs.

No, as previous answers stated, there is no solution other than
to buy English version of MS Windows - there are no 'language packs'
that convert _Russian_ Windows (Russian interface) into English one.
