changing OS to different drive

Tony

I run a computer with two hard drives
The first HDis 80gb(Drive C:) and has the Operating
system on it
The second HD is 40gb(Drive D:)(Both are NTFS)
I wish to put the Operating system on the 40gb HD so that
the 80gb HD can be used soley for video editing.
How do I go about this and will I have activation
problems?

Can I just load xp onto 40gb HD, change master and slave over, reboot and format 80gb HD from within windows?Or will I have activation problem in loading xp onto the other drive?

You won't have any activation problems - the installation process will sense
that this is the same PC. However, you must set your master/slave
relationship ***before*** installing WinXP, not after.
